3 Easy Ways to Start Meditating

I know, it can feel a little intimidating at first. But let’s clear up some misconceptions:

-Meditation has no rules, just find what works for you!

-Your mind doesn’t need to be clear, you can still let your mind and thoughts wander

-There is no right or wrong way to mediate

-Sit, stand, lie down, do whatever makes you comfortable

So here are 3 easy ways to start meditating:

  1. Close your eyes, and take deep breaths. Breathe in for 6 seconds, breathe out for 6 seconds. Repeat. Now imagine that you’re in a happy place. Focus on senses. What do you see, hear, smell, taste, and feel?

  2. Draw! Drawing can be very meditative. Try something abstract, and just let your creativity flow!

  3. Put on some Hz music, or chakra music, or singing bowls, whatever calming music you like. Get Comfy. Close your eyes and take deep breaths. Breathe in for 6 seconds, breathe out for 6 seconds. Repeat.
